Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (PEO) is an orphanage, nursery and breeding ground for nearly 100 elephants. It was founded in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation to care for and protect the orphaned young elephants that were often found wandering around the forests of Sri Lanka. What began with five baby elephants grew into a program that now cares for a herd of more than 90 elephants.

Visit Herbal Spice Garden: Fascinating insight into Sri Lankan history, botany, and gastronomy. The fragrant gardens are home to an exotic collection of trees, bushes, and flowers, all of which lend their flavors and spices to the diverse melting pot of Sri Lanka's cuisine. DAY 02 KANDY / AMBULUWAWA / NUWARA ELIYA

Breakfast at the hotel and leave towards Nuwara Eliya. On the way,

Visit Ambuluwawa Tower: 3567 meters above sea level and there are 200 plants which belong to 80 species. We know the climb to the top is a bit tough but then again you know the hardest climbs always give the best views. Some of the best views you can admire from this tower is, from South Sri Pada or Adams Peak, North Mountain range of Knuckles, West Bathalegala or Bible Rock, East Piduruthalagala.

Witness Ramboda Falls: Cascading down two tiers of rock the mesmerizing sight of stark white water-dropping 358 ft into a rocky pool. This is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is worth seeing. For those who love.

Vist Seetha Amman Temple: Seetha Eliya Seethai Amman Thirukkovil, also known as Ashok Vatika Sita Temple, is an ancient Vaishnavite Hindu temple located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Central Sri Lanka. According to Ramayana, where Seetha (Sita) was supposedly held captive & the Seetha (Sita) Amman Temple is located here. Another connected site is a spot where Seetha (Sita) bathed in a stream at Seetha (Sita) Eliya, called Seetha (Sita) Jharna. The footprints of Hanuman’s can be seen even today close to the stream & Hanuman met Seetha (Sita) at Ashoka Vatika.

Visit Gregory Lake Park: Located in Nuwara Eliya, is a picturesque artificial lake that serves as a popular recreational and tourist spot. It was created during the British colonial period and is named after Sir William Gregory, the then British Governor of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, providing a serene and picturesque setting. It is particularly known for its tranquil atmosphere and scenic views, making it a popular spot for photography and relaxation.

DAY 03 NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO

Breakfast at the hotel and leave towards Colombo. Commence a city tour of Colombo.

Visit Independence Square: Independence Memorial Hall is a national monument in Sri Lanka built for commemoration of the independence of Sri Lanka from the British rule with the restoration of full governing responsibility to a Ceylonese-elected legislature on February 4, 1948.

Visit Lotus Towers: Lotus Tower, is a 351.5 m (1,153 ft) tall tower, located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It has been called a symbolic landmark of Sri Lanka. As of 2019, the tower is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia, the second tallest structure in South Asia after the guy-wire-supported INS Kattabomman in India. Lotus Towers is the 11th tallest tower in Asia and the 19th tallest tower in the world. (Going inside USD 20/-)

Visit Gangaramaya Temple: Gangaramaya is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo, started by the famous scholar monk Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera in the late 19th Century. The temple is involved in Buddhist welfare work including old peoples' homes, a vocational school and an orphanage. The temple is uniquely attractive and tolerant of members of many different religions. It has been instrumental in establishing the Buddhist temple on Staten Island (US) the Buddhist Center in New York and the Buddhist Centre in Tanzania, thus helping to propagate the Dhamma in other countries.

Visit Old Galle Buck Lighthouse: Old Galle Buck Lighthouse, is situated in the center of the rapidly developing zone of the Colombo Port City. The lighthouse was first opened in 1952 and features stunning views of the Indian Ocean at sunset, set against a backdrop of the urbanized center of Colombo City. The lighthouse is open to the public all year round but is perhaps best viewed after 5 PM to take in the magnificent views.
